Your phone or computer shows a strong Wi-Fi signal, but websites will not load, apps report that they are offline, and Windows may display “No Internet, secured.” This situation is confusing because the device appears to be connected.
The explanation is simple: connecting to Wi-Fi only confirms that your device can communicate with the wireless router. It does not confirm that the router can reach your internet service provider.
